Wip Sebatian Stan by autumnprincess
Wip Sebatian Stan
Practice, practice, practice. Working on my first ever digital portrait, as you can see I have a long way to go:noes:, but this is taking forever,
so I thought I'd upload a progress-pic to keep myself motivated.
Hope you like it (so far :aww:)

Pimlico - OC by autumnprincess
Pimlico - OC
Practice. Digital drawing of my OC Pimlico. I don't like this colouring style, I need to find a technique to colour rougher. This air-brushing makes him look like he's made of plastic.
Pimlico is a demon, I think, have not quite developed his character and personality yet. His right eye is blind, but he is really good with knives, ladies like him, he's very persuasive... His best-friend is Odessa

Eatheria - OC by autumnprincess
Eatheria - OC
First ever completely digital piece of art! I am kind of excited about that! I mean, it's by no means perfect, but there it is! I've only used the tablet three times, and tbh I thought of never using it after the second try, because it was infuriatingly difficult, but after three more days of practice I can almost get the lines where I want them and I almost know how the tools work #progress! whoop! So here she is, The cloud-haired, pouty, doe-eyed Eatheria. ta-dah! :la: Hope you like it!

Fog-weaver - Secular Haze by autumnprincess
Fog-weaver - Secular Haze
One of the ideas I had about what the fog-weaver would look like. Inspired by the song "Secular Haze" By the band Ghost.
Pen and promarkers on paper, edited in Pixlr.

Hope you like it, and check out Ghost's music if you have not done so :la:

Silliness that happens when the only description I get for a commission is "It has to be Darth Vader, funny and epic" uh... I'm not THAT good at coming up with funny stuff, bro, so this is what you get Sweating a little...  heh. Hope you guys like it!

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt? Approximately 7 years :aww:

  2. What does your username mean? Exactly what it says really, it was the choice of a 16 year old me. I love autumn and all that comes with it. Rain, brightly coloured leaves, the crisp air, ripe fruit, chestnuts and pumpkins, not to mention All Hallow's Eve! It would probably be something different had I chosen it today though, hehe.

  3. Describe yourself in three words. Dreamer, “Jack of all trades –  master of none”, fantasy addict.

  4.  Are you left or right handed? Right handed, but how I wish I was ambidextrous! Not only is it a great 'party-trick' but also seems super handy!(hah!)

  5. What was your first deviation? Oooh, that was during my 'Naruto'-phase and I was crushing hard on Deidara :noes:  Deidara by autumnprincess

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create? I prefer drawing, mostly Oc's  or creating inspired images, but they hardly ever come out as I imagine, so I keep practising. I am putting off creating grand images from my imagination because I do not yet have the skills to execute them properly... but they are almost always space, fantasy or steampunk inspired.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be? Digital, watercolour, acrylics or comic book style(can't decide).

  8. What was your first favourite? Boys in Hats by inu-sushi I have never been good at drawing boys or movement and was really inspired by the flow and easy feel of this.

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most? Fantasy/sci-fi or art based on my fandoms :iconsupertighthugplz:. But to be honest I favourite anything that piques my interest, or that I find beautiful, regardless of style, or theme or medium. It can be really grotesque, but if it's beautifully made or otherwise impressive I'll favourite it even though I can't stand gore. (Really looking forward to Crimson Peak though...ehe).

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist? Tracyjb and AbigailLarson but I also really like Humon and Brian Kesinger. AbigailLarson is probably the one who speaks the most to my soul. She draws illustrations from all my favourite books and the mood is exactly as dark and sinister as I feel fairy-tales and stories should be. It is inspiring, humbling and infuriating all at once to see someone with talents so superior to ones own. I respect these artists so much.

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be? UGH! So difficult! All my favourites haha, but I would REALLY like to meet John Howe (don't think he's on here though...)

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life? Every deviant who creates something that speaks to me impacts my life. But I think "Endless Journey" and "Infinite Dreams" by :iconrhads: RHADS really opened my eyes to digital art and not to mention took my own imagination to a whole new level. I hope to create something as inspiring one day. :worship:

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art? Pencil. It is hands down the best tool. It is the only tool I feel in control of, and it can be erased. But I like to live dangerously(not really), so I often use pen *gasp* and recently (as I mentioned) started using watercolours. I do however have a dream of, one day, creating stop-motion films, or at least, stop-motion dolls, I am in love with Coraline and The Boxtrolls, I have no words to describe my respect and awe of the amount of work, the level of detail and the time put into these works of art!!!  :la:

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art? In the forest away from all sound of everyday life and humans. Or in a naturally lit room with large windows and a view. I like to see the sky when I draw, paint or write because it is like a canvas itself. Sometimes when I look up at the sky, it becomes opaque and I imagine that I can see space through the atmosphere. I see the nebulas and the galaxies and the planets in our solar system:star:. I draw a lot from my own imagination, but I am also often inspired by books or music. :music:

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory? The "A Calendar of Tales" contest with Neil Gaiman and BlackBerry. I was so excited because he's one of my top five favourite authors of all time! I didn't win or anything, but I could not help but being inspired by the fact that Neil Gaiman was on Deviantart! (I also really enjoyed receiving my first llama-badge and :+fav:

  • Listening to: Miriam Stockley-Perfect Day
  • Reading: Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror
  • Watching: All the fantasy films I can find.
  • Eating: I'm on my sixth nectarine :B
  • Drinking: in the cold light of a cloudy evening.
